The Cape Cod Rail Trail offers 25 miles of paved trails running diagonally through Brewster. The Trail begins in the Town of Dennis and continues on to Wellfleet. The path has been extended to Harwich and now to Chatham, another 8.5 miles. Between Dennis and Brewster the path has just been repaved.
One has the opportunity of leaving the Cape Cod Rail Trail and entering Brewster's Nickerson State Park. This 1,955 acre park boasts 8 miles of paved bike paths, more unpaved trails, two swimming ponds, picnic areas, boating and camping. No Fee to enter the park.

Brewster offers two wonderful Bike Shops that provide rentals, sales, and repairs. You may rent a bike and access the Rail Trail from their back yards.
