The Stony Brook Grist Mill

Stony Brook Road, reservations are made through Dana Conit, small weddings and limited parking, 508 896-6194. The grist mill has small lawn area with pond and herring creek - and road. (Hiring a trolley might be an idea to avoid parking problem.)

The Drummer Boy Park - Band Stand, 773 Main Street, West Brewster.

Permits from Town Selectman office, 508- 896-3701, ext.134. 2198 Main Street, The Town of Brewster The bandstand sits on a sweeping lawn down to the bay. (A marsh stands between grounds and beach.) Adjacent to town windmill and playground. You can have a tent at Drummer Boy Park for ceremony only. There are two departments at Town Hall to go through. Horse and carriage is an option for the wedding party arrival there. Adjacent to the bandstand is the windmill. The Brewster Historical Society is thinking of allowing ceremonies at the Higgins Farm Windmill at Drummer Boy Park for a fee, though they are in the planning phase.

Brewster Beaches

You can get married on the beach, again request rules from the Town Hall. More than twenty people also require a permit from the Police. Parking in summer is a problem, so think about a trolley or something fun for transportation. Can't guarantee parking spaces, the beaches are crowded, and tides need to be considered. Parking fees are imposed June 15 - Sept 1. Call Doreen in the selectman's office, 508/896-3701 ext. 134 for all the details.

Two other thoughts, the National Seashore, 508-255-3421 Salt Pond Visitor Center or Headquarters 508-349-3785, you may want to call and see the beach wedding ideas. The other thought is the town of Dennis has a bandstand on Rte. 6A, for weddings. Contact them directly 508-394-8300.
