By Natalie Ross Miller and Rick Longley adapted from the 1607 farce of the same name by Francis Beaumont. Directed by Maura Hanlon.
A troupe of 17th century players are set to perform when they are interrupted by tourists from the 21st century who reduce their instructive and uplifting play to a hilarious shambles. Will the lovers ever get to their happy ending? Will the young hero manage to fulfill his quest? And will the mysterious lady be reveled? Very freely adapted from Beaumont's 1607 comedy, this happy, rowdy farce has maidens, morons, good clean lust and only a few redeeming social values. |

| Details | A high energy 'double feature!' First, a singing and tap dancing tribute to screen stars of old. Next, the Marx Brothers reign supreme in a raucous comedy!
The concept is a fun delicious blast from Hollywood's golden age. The first act takes place in the lobby of Grauman's Chinese Theatre - known for its famous feet in the sidewalk cement. The cast members all play ushers (among other things), singing and dancing through classics from and about films. The second act is, so to speak, the movie that's on inside Grauman's. The action takes place in the Russian household of Mrs. Pavlenko, a rich widow, where madcap lunacy runs wild. |

Gifted writer David Gessner returns to Cape Cod and the Museum with the paperback edition of Soaring with Fidel, a thematic sequel to his classic Return of the Osprey. As noted on his website, "Soaring with Fidel is about the exhilaration of migration, but it is also a deeper meditation on the nature of human happiness. In describing the thrill of travel, the antics of these swashbuckling birds, and the cast of characters he meets (and drinks with) along the way-including scientists, students, tour guides, and an online group of birders¬ Gessner gives us a profound lesson in the importance of following what you love." |

| Details | The Butterfly Count on Cape Cod is a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of these exquisite insects and to contribute to the scientific database on their presence and migration patterns.
Both newcomers and veteran participants are welcome – whether you are starting on a new, exciting adventure, much like bird watching, or can help identify butterflies. Butterflies are not only beautiful and interesting, but also important pollinators.
The count is run by the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) and there are counts in July all over North America. You can find out all about the counts by going online to www.naba,org
Participants will need to bring a lunch, binoculars, proper clothing, a butterfly guide if you have one, and be prepared to have a good time! We shall carpool in teams to many sites. Butterfly books are on sale at the Museum.
If you are interested, please call in and register for the count. Register with Julie O'Neil, 508-896-3867 ex. 129, or adminsupport@ccmnh.org
Directions: Take Exit 9B off Rte 6 and follow Rte 134 North to Rte 6A, then turn right and follow 6A to The Museum, on the left, 869 Rte. 6A, Brewster.

Learn about the long term impact of the storm and what this means for the future of this important resource. Pleasant Bay is the largest estuary on Cape Cod and is one of the most biologically diverse and productive marine habitats on the east coast of the United States.
Members of the Alliance will also provide an overview of the 2008 Resource Management Plan Update, an update to the agreement first signed in 1998 by the towns of Brewster, Chatham, Harwich, and Orleans to protect natural resources. The Alliance develops public policy recommendations, technical studies and public education tools to protect the natural resources and public enjoyment of Pleasant Bay. |
